Thief, Steal, Liars, Bank, Business, Article, Wednesday, Jul. 1, 2009 1:59pm Bank of America accused of anti-consumer practices People, who said they were former Bank of America employees, alleged that their supervisors drove them to burden consumers with needless debt and fees, to fatten the bank’s earnings and the paychecks of senior executives, and threatened to retaliate if they complained. Some complained their salaries had been too low and that they had to hit quotas. Thanks reuters.com PermalinkAdd a Comment

Thursday, Jun. 25, 2009 4:15pm Michael Jackson is Dead. He was a great performer. The King of Pop. He was famous nearly his entire life. He gave us so many great moments. We will always wonder about his personal life and his character. But nobody will wonder about his talent.

Hate, Problems, Jerks, AT&T, Apple, iPhone, 3GS, Wednesday, Jun. 24, 2009 9:13am AT&T Has Terrible Customer Service. I went into the AT&T store on Herndon and Blackstone in Fresno last Friday after work. I stood in line for 1 hour, then I bought the new 3GS. Wow, cool right? No. Not cool.
They sold me a bum iPhone unit. And on top of that, they wasted many hours of my precious free time. I am irritated beyond consolation. Since I got my new phone I have had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS.
The signal is dropped every minute on the minute. Yesterday after work the AT&T store I bought the phone at told me to take my bum 3GS to the iPhone store and they could give me a new one. Not.
They insulted my intelligence by attempting to placate me. In a condescending, patronizing (and strangely enough STUPID SOUNDING) the wanna-be, know-it-all, hyphen-rich, neo-hippie told me, "Sounds like a software issue sir. Let’s set you up with one of our (wait for it) "genius" lab appointments, where one of our (here’s that word again) on-site genius guys can trouble-shoot your unit.
Trouble-shoot this unit pal.
"If you would like to exchange your 3GS, we don’t currently have anymore units in the store at this time. (And then something about going back to the AT&T store where I bought it)
Jerks.
So I take it BACK to the AT&T store. I wait another hour to be seen by their rude employees (really, they were straight out rude to people). Only this time I’m with my 9 year old, my 7 year old, and my pregnant wife. So that just added to the intensity of the drama, let me tell you.
Long story short -- the lady tells me, "Oh yeah, a lot of the new iPhone 3GS’s had bad SIM cards. We just pop it out, put in this new, cool-looking blue one (she actually is trying to sell me on the coolness of the SIM card at this point, can you believe this lady??!!) "
Another long story short -- she switched out the SIMs and the phone was cool for about an hour. Now it’s right back to spontaneous connectivity.
Jerks. Today I am taking the phone back for a refund. End of story. PermalinkAdd a Comment
